SPACE AND POWER SERVICES

OVERVIEW OF CENTRA’S SPACE AND POWER INFRASTRUCTURE, INCLUDING STANDARD DELIVERY CONFIGURATIONS AND SCALABILITY OPTIONS.

CENTRA Digital provides flexible, secure colocation space and reliable power delivery across its data center facilities. This article outlines the types of cabinet space and power configurations available to customers, including standard options and key considerations for power delivery and infrastructure planning.

Colocation Space

CENTRA offers secure, dedicated cabinet space to support a wide range of deployment sizes and configurations. Colocation options may include:

  • Full cabinets (standard and custom dimensions available)
  • Partial cabinets or shared space (depending on facility)
  • Grid-based cabinet location mapping for precise placement
  • Environmentally monitored space with 24/7 security and badge access

Customers have the ability to scale their deployments over time as business needs evolve. Cabinet locations are carefully coordinated with CENTRA personnel to ensure availability, compliance, and optimized power delivery paths.

Power Delivery Options

CENTRA provides power through industry-standard configurations, typically with A/B redundant power circuits to ensure high availability. Power services are tailored to support a variety of IT loads and resiliency requirements.

Key power options include:

  • Voltages: 120V / 208V / 240V (varies by location)
  • Amperages: Common configurations include 20A, 30A, 60A, and higher
  • Phases: Single-phase and three-phase options available
  • Whips: Typically delivered as dual (A & B) power feeds for redundancy
  • Delivery: Power is terminated to cabinet-mounted PDUs (Power Distribution Units)

Power utilization is monitored and logged to help customers manage capacity, efficiency, and compliance. High-density cabinet configurations may require specific planning to accommodate thermal and electrical load considerations.

Decommissions and Reconfiguration

CENTRA supports the safe deinstallation of power whips and reconfiguration of cabinet power setups as part of ongoing infrastructure lifecycle management. These changes are typically handled as part of MACD (Moves, Adds, Changes, Decommissions) workflows.
