SECURITY AND ACCESS CONTROL AT CENTRA DATA CENTERS
UNDERSTAND CENTRA’S PHYSICAL SECURITY POLICIES, ACCESS CONTROL PROCEDURES, BADGE TYPES, AND BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION REQUIREMENTS.
Security is a top priority at CENTRA Digital. Our data centers are designed with layered physical and electronic security measures to ensure the protection of customer infrastructure, data, and personnel. This article outlines the key components of CENTRA’s access control policies and facility security standards.
Access to CENTRA facilities is limited to authorized personnel only, and all entries are logged, monitored, and subject to audit. For more information on how to manage access permissions or request visitor access, please refer to your Customer Success Manager.
Facility Security Features
CENTRA data centers are protected by a comprehensive set of security controls, including:
- 24/7 video surveillance inside and outside the facility
- Electronic access control systems with biometric or badge authentication
- Mantrap entries and secured corridors to prevent unauthorized tailgating
- Color-coded badge system to clearly indicate access levels
- Mandatory ID verification for all on-site personnel and visitors
- Service animal compliance aligned with ADA standards
All individuals are required to wear visible CENTRA-issued badges while on-site.

24/7 Customer Access
Authorized customer personnel may access the facility 24/7, even outside of standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM local site time).
- Only individuals designated as Authorized Persons in your CENTRA access list will be permitted entry.
- All entries and exits are logged for security and compliance purposes.
- Vehicles arriving at a security gate must include at least one authorized occupant.
If no one in the vehicle is authorized, entry will be denied and the group will be instructed to contact the sponsoring customer representative.
Managing Access Permissions
To update your list of Authorized Persons or request visitor access:
- Submit a support ticket via your Customer Success Manager or email help@centradigital.com
- Provide full name, badge type requested, expected access date/time, and purpose of visit
- CENTRA will validate the request and issue credentials accordingly
CENTRA security may request valid government-issued identification and reserves the right to deny access if identity or purpose cannot be verified.
Service Animal Policy
CENTRA complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and permits entry for certified service animals. Please note:
- Emotional support animals are not permitted
- CENTRA personnel may verify service animal certification as part of the access process
