ORDERING ADDITIONAL SERVICES FOR EXISTING CUSTOMERS

HOW TO REQUEST MACD CHANGES, INCLUDING NEW POWER, INTERCONNECTION, AND CABINET SERVICES FOR EXISTING DEPLOYMENTS.

CENTRA Digital makes it easy for existing customers to request additional services during their service term. This includes new power circuits, interconnection services, cross connects, cabinet modifications, and more. All service requests follow a standardized process to ensure clarity, coordination, and timely delivery.

How to Submit a New Service Order 

To order additional services, customers should contact CENTRA using one of the following methods: 

  • Sales Inquiries: sales@centradigital.com 
  • Contact your CENTRA Account Team or Customer Success Manager directly. 

Please be prepared to discuss: 

  • The specific service(s) you need 
  • The data center location 
  • Scope of work and installation timeline 
  • Service term (e.g., monthly, annual) 

Once your request is submitted: 

  1. Consultation: A CENTRA team member will follow up to confirm the details and scope of the requested service. 
  2. Order Generation: CENTRA will prepare and send you a Service Order outlining the requested services, associated terms, and pricing. 
  3. Execution: You must return a signed copy of the Service Order and, if applicable, a Purchase Order (PO). 
  4. Order Acknowledgement: Once fully executed, CENTRA will issue an order acknowledgment via email. This includes a copy of the signed Service Order and confirmation that implementation has begun. 

Implementation and Connection Notice 

CENTRA’s Customer Success Team will coordinate with internal technical teams and your designated contacts to ensure timely delivery. 

After installation: 

  • You’ll receive a Connection Notice confirming service delivery and activation. 
  • Billing will begin according to the terms of the Service Order. 
  • Any pending services will be identified in the notice. 
  • Your account will transition to ongoing support by the CENTRA Operations Team. 

Common MACD (Moves, Adds, Changes and Decommissions) Requests 

The following types of changes, commonly referred to as MACD (Moves, Adds, Changes, and Decommissions), require a formal Service Order and are handled through the process outlined above: 

  • Moves: Relocating existing cabinets or equipment within the data center 
  • Adds: Adding new services such as: 
  • Power Services (e.g., additional power circuits, new whip installs) 
  • Interconnection Services (e.g., Cross Connects, CENTRA Internet Access) 
  • New cabinet deployments or rack installations 
  • Changes: Modifying existing infrastructure (e.g., increasing capacity, switching port types, reconfiguring cabling) 
  • Decommissions: Takedown and removal of circuits, cross connects, cabinets, or power whips 

Each MACD request is reviewed for technical feasibility, capacity availability, and coordination requirements. Service delivery timelines vary depending on the nature of the request, but most standard changes follow a 2–3 week lead time unless expedited services are arranged.
